About Kurt Iverson

Let’s get right to the meat of it, shall we?

Started in video production, moved into marketing/communications, designed websites and multimedia, went into Flash interactive design, designed fan engagement experiences for major league sports, shifted to cutting edge mobile design, went into children’s digital publishing and am now the Sr. Lead UX Designer at the Federal Reserve. I’ve done just about everything video, audio, print, digital and mobile. I’ve worked in all kinds of industries and verticals and have managed small development/design teams to managing projects through large agencies. I have worked with and applied UI and development cycle principles in the mobile, social media, web and interactive spaces. I excel when it comes to taking a project from ideation to execution. I am NOT a 9-5 guy. I work and think about what I’m working on around the clock. I love what I do and I do what I love.

Over 18 years of experience in design and multimedia accented with experience in development and marketing/communications. I am peppered with applicable literacy in many areas.

Worked with Fortune 100 companies, celebrities, entertainers, corporations, mom and pop shops and everything in between. I speak the language of geeks, marketers, execs and the layman. I’m a hands on designer with the ability to motivate, inspire and manage the people and processes around me. YES…processes can be inspired!

My skill space?

Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash, Dreamweaver, Peak, Deck, InDesign, boring software, sexy software and all kinds of other geeky, creative stuff. I design for web, print, iOS, Android, Blackberry (thank all that is holy and sacred in the land of mobile that I don’t have to do too much of this one), and anything else anybody has the foolhardiness to give me the reigns on!
